From notes in DAS book on FOWLKES: John, Marmeduke, Francis, and Mary are named in a will written 4/17/1732and probated Jun 1732. Edward is not proved to be a son but there is little doubt. He lived near John, but not on adjoining land. He survived John by ten years, and the settlement of his estate indicates that he had inherited the land he lived on.

William is also not proved, but dates on the tombstone make him the right age and when Josiah son of John moved from Chesterfield Co tp PE Co in 1782 he moved near where William was buried.
