Narrative
EL Robbins was a building contractor. He built the 1908 county courthouse in Independence, VA which is in the National Registry. He also built the Grassy Creek Methodist Church and numerous houses in the area. He was Commissioner of Revenue for the Wilson District of Grayson County in 1915. He was active in the Masons being a member of the Old Town Lodge (#68) and District Deputy Grand Master of district 53, covering lodges 219 and 223.
