From online notes by Cheryl Thompson:
William's name appears in voter lists in Morris Co., NJ, in 1753. Had children bapt. by Dr. Jacob Green in Hanover, NJ, between 1752-1756.
On Sep 25, 1770, he mortgaged to Daniel Wick 53 acres of land at Parsippany or Troy (Morris Co. Mortgages, Bk B, pg. 12).
His name appears frequently in court records until just before the REVWAR, at which time he removed to NC.
I think she may be confused with his son William - THS
