Narrative
Fought in the battle of Guilford Court House. In 1791 he purchased 400 acres of land in Carroll County. This land was deeded (patented to him Oct 1,1791) He was a quiet srt of man, but had three sons, William Allen III, John Allen, and Carr Allen, whho were brought into court occassionally and had to be bonded to keep the peace.
