Narrative
ROBERT P. STURGILL brother of Johnathan, also returned to KY after 1860 where he settled near Blaine in Lawrence Co. It is assumed that he married his wife Parmelia in KY as no record was found in Ashe Co. NC. Two of their children who died in childhood were buried near Blaine. It was said that the other two became medical Doctors but no record of this was found. The burial place of Robert & Parmelia is not known. - pg 128
